Mission & Vision Statement
Our Mission
At HOLY Branch of Olive!™, our mission is to preserve and share the sacred tradition of hand-carved olive wood artistry passed down through generations in Bethlehem, Palestine. We are committed to supporting Palestinian Christian artisans by bringing their faith-inspired craftsmanship to the world, honoring both the makers and the land from which each piece originates, while preserving the existence of the olive wood artisan trade in Palestine.
Our Vision
Our vision is a world where sacred craftsmanship remains alive and valued — where faith, cultural heritage, and sustainable practices continue to connect people across generations, fostering peace, purpose, and meaningful connection through the enduring artistry of the Holy Land.
Our Story
HOLY Branch of Olive!™ began as something deeply personal — and grew into a purpose we felt called to share.
We are a family-owned and operated business rooted in faith, heritage, and generations of sacred craftsmanship. Our extended family in Bethlehem belongs to one of the few remaining Palestinian Christian artisan families who have preserved the ancient tradition of hand-carving olive wood for centuries. What began as a way of life, passed quietly from parent to child, has endured through history, hardship, and unwavering faith.
In 2021, we established HOLY Branch of Olive!™ to serve as a bridge — connecting these artisans and their work to families and faith communities around the world. We are honored to act as authorized U.S. distributors for these workshops, whose carvings are still created by hand in Bethlehem and nearby villages, using time-honored techniques that honor both material and meaning.
To us, this is not simply commerce — it is calling and stewardship. It is our way of honoring and preserving the Christian presence in Bethlehem while supporting the artisan families whose livelihoods are rooted in this centuries-old tradition. Each purchase strengthens a living heritage, ensuring that the olive wood craft of Palestine remains not a memory of the past, but a meaningful and enduring practice that continues to flourish as a vibrant and meaningful expression of faith for generations to come.
Based in Southern California, we are grateful to share these meaningful works with homes, churches, and communities across the United States and beyond. Whether you are seeking a devotional piece, a meaningful gift, or an heirloom to pass down, we invite you to experience the faith, history, and quiet beauty embodied in every carving.
A Founders’ Reflection
What began for us as a family connection to the Holy Land has grown into something far deeper. This work is not just what we do—it is part of who we are.
Over time, we came to understand this business as a calling. In a world that often feels hurried and disconnected, we felt drawn to create something slower, more meaningful — something rooted in faith, tradition, and human hands. Every piece we share carries a story of devotion, perseverance, and quiet prayer, and our hope is that it brings a sense of peace, reflection, and spiritual presence into the homes it enters.
We do this with humility and gratitude, honoring the artisans, the land, and the faith that continues to guide our family. If these pieces help keep spirituality alive in even the smallest way — within a home, a family, or a moment of reflection — then we feel we are living out our purpose.
